As the Sanitary Sewer Project continues, crews are working to replace a sewer line on Whites Mill Road, between Shady Street and Clark Street. This portion of the project is expected to last a few weeks. The road remains passable, but please watch for flaggers and follow any posted signage.

ATMOS Gas will be installing a new line at the end of Valley Street and Walden Road. Work is scheduled to take place, Monday, September 22 - Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 7:30am - 6:30pm daily. Traffic control, lane shifts, and flagging may be needed to conduct the necessary work and limit delays, however, the work will not impede school traffic. Both lanes of traffic will flow through the area during peak drop-off and pick-up times.

It's the day everyone has been waiting for, Valley Street and Walden Road are now open!
The asphalt has been patched, and final paving will be completed during a school break to minimize disruption.

The sanitary sewer project impacting Valley Street and Walden Road is expected to be completed on Saturday, September 6! We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during this important upgrade.
In the photo, the concrete pipe on the right once served eight apartments. It has now been replaced by the new pipe on the left, providing customers with a much more reliable and efficient flow. This is just one example of the many improvements made possible through this project.
Patched paving will be completed so that the road can reopen, with final paving scheduled during an upcoming school break to minimize disruption.
