Real property taxes for the current tax year were due on May 20, 2025, in accordance with the Town of Abingdon Code of Ordinances §66-1.
To offer additional flexibility to taxpayers, the Abingdon Town Council approved a temporary deferral of penalties and interest on unpaid real property taxes. No penalties or interest will be applied to unpaid balances through June 10, 2025.
Beginning June 11, 2025, any unpaid taxes will accrue penalties and interest as provided by law.
