❄️Cold Weather Doesn't Stop Crime

This past weekend, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle and a separate report of trespassing with possession of burglary tools. This is a good opportunity to remind our community of a few simple steps you can take to help protect your property:

• Lock doors and vehicles
• Remove valuables from vehicles
• Secure sheds and outbuildings
• Turn on outdoor lights
• Report suspicious activity

Small actions make a big difference. Thank you for helping keep our community safe this winter!❄️

❄️ Winter Storm Safety Reminder ❄️

The safest way to prepare for this weekend's winter storm is to stay home if you can. If travel is unavoidable, please keep these important road safety tips in mind:

• Avoid nonessential travel
• Buckle up every time
• Slow down and increase following distance
• Accelerate and brake gently
• Use low-beam headlights
• Keep cruise control turned off
• Pack an emergency kit in your vehicle

Your safety matters. Please use caution and stay safe during the storm. 🚗❄️

A DUI can cost your license. Driving under the influence can cost your life, or the life of others affected by your choice. Plan a sober ride. #WhatsTheDamage https://whatsthedamage.org/
